1987 Donruss #66 - Will Clark

  • Johngy from Johngy's Beat sent me this card. This was the one card I needed to complete my 1987 Donruss Giants team set. Thanks a lot Johngy!
  • Night Owl has a "One Card Challenge" where a collector can ask for one card to complete a set (or a team set). I asked for the 1987 Donruss Clark and Johngy sent it along. Thanks for starting this program, Night Owl!

1992 Topps Giants - Part 2 (infielders)

This set is starting to grow on me. There are lots of cool horizontal cards and good action shots. Robby Thompson (#475) batted .260 with 14 HR and 49 RBI in 128 games.
Will Clark (#330) batted .300 with 16 HR and 73 RBI.
Will Clark All Star (#386)
Matt Williams (#445) batted .227 with 20 HR and 66 RBI.

Greg Litton (#238) batted .229 in 140 at bats as Robby Thompson's backup at second base.
Jose Uribe (#538) split time with Royce Clayton at shortstop in 1992. Uribe batted .241 in 66 games.

Royce Clayton (#786) batted .224 in 98 games in his first full season in the majors.

Others who played infield for the Giants in 1992:

  • Cory Snyder (.269, 14 HR, 57 RBI in 124 games as a utilityman) - He got a 1992 Topps Traded card but I can't get at my traded sets to scan his card right now.
  • John Patterson (.184 in 32 games)
  • Mike Benjamin (.173 in 40 games)
