  • Felipe Alou (#291) was in the second year of his four-year tenure as manager of the Giants. In 2003 the Giants won the NL West. They were 2nd in 2004, then 3rd in 2005 and 2006. Alou stepped down after the 2006 season. Alou managed a total of 14 years in the majors -- Montreal (1992-2001) and San Francisco (2003-2006). He was NL Manager of the Year in 1994.
