Game 1: In the top of the second inning Jim Ray Hart walked, Hal Lanier singled, and Tito Fuentes singled to score Hart. Willie McCovey hit a towering solo home run in the top of the fifth to make the score 2-0. The 1924 Giants struck back in the bottom of the seventh when George Kelly doubled and Travis Jackson homered to tie the score. Heinie Groh singled and advanced to second on an error. Frank Snyder walked then pinch hitter Hank Gowdy singled to load the bases. A wild pitch by Ray Sadecki scored Groh, then Frankie Frisch singled to score Snyder. The 1924 Giants led 4-2 after the 7th inning. In the bottom of the 8th Jackson singled, Groh singled him to third, and Snyder hit a sacrifice fly to score Jackson. The 1967 Giants scored one run in the bottom of the 9th but that was it.

Game 2: Willie Mays hit a solo home run in the top of the fourth. In the top of the fifth Ollie Brown singled and Hal Lanier doubled to score Brown. Mays doubled and Brown singled to score Mays in the top of the sixth. Mays homered again in the top of
the 8th to put the 1967 team up 4-0. Gaylord Perry allowed nine hits and was in trouble a few times, but he struck out 13 batters and got the shutout.

Game 3: In the bottom of the first Jesus Alou and Willie Mays singled. Alou scored on Ollie Brown's groundout. The 1924 team tied the score when Frankie Frisch singled and scored on Hack Wilson's double. Irish Meusel singled to score Wilson. In the bottom of the third Willie McCovey walked, Mays walked, and Jim Ray Hart singled to score McCovey. Brown hit a sac fly to score Mays. After three innings the 1967 team led 3-2. In the bottom of the fifth Alou reached on an error by Travis Jackson. McCovey hit a 2-run homer to make the score 5-2. Wilson singled and scored on a George Kelly single in the top of the 6th.There was no other scoring as Mike McCormick got the complete game victory.

Game 4: Hack Wilson hit a solo homer in the top of the first. In the bottom of the fourth the 1967 team tied the score when Jim Ray Hart, Ollie Brown, and Hal Lanier hit consecutive singles to score a run. The 1924 team retook the lead in the top of the fifth when Hugh McQuillan and Ross Young singled, Frankie Frisch sacrificed, and McQuillan scored on a Wilson sacrifice fly. Youngs then scored on Irish Meusel's single. Frisch tripled and Wilson singled in the top of the 7th to make the score 4-1. In the bottom of the 7th Tito Fuentes singled, pinch hitter Jack Hiatt walked, and Jesus Alou singled to load the bases with nobody out. Fuentes scored on a Tom Haller grounder, then Willie Mays walked to load the bases with one out. Willie McCovey walked to force in a run, then Hart hit a sacrifice fly to tie the score at 4. In the top of the 9th George Kelly homered with two out to make the score 5-4. In the bottom of the ninth Haller singled and McCovey doubled to score pinch runner Ken Henderson. Lanier later singled to score McCovey with the winning run. The two clubs combined for 30 hits in the game.

Game 5: Willie McCovey singled, Jim Ray Hart walked, and Ollie Brown singled, then Dick Dietz walked to force McCovey in. Willie Mays homered in the bottom of the third to make the score 2-0. George Kelly singled and Travis Jackson doubled to score Kelly in the top of the fourth. Jackson then scored on a Frank Snyder single. The 1924 team scored five runs (four of them unearned) thanks to three errors in the top of the sixth. Kelly hit a 2-run homer in the top of the ninth to ice the game.
1924 9, 1967 3.
Game 6: Frankie Frisch and George Kelly doubled in the bottom of the first to start the scoring. In the bottom of the fourth Frank Snyder reached on a Tito Fuentes error. Frank Barnes singled and Snyder came around to score on a double by Ross Youngs. Barnes scored on a Frisch single to make the score 3-0. Willie Mays homered in the top of the sixth. Willie McCovey reached on an error by Youngs and scored on a grounder by Ollie Brown. In the bottom of the sixth Youngs atoned for his error by homering to left. Gaylord Perry doubled and scored on a single by Jesus Alou in the top of the seventh. In the bottom of the 8th Irish Meusel and Kelly hit singles and Meusel scored on a sacrifce fly by Travis Jackson to make the score 5-3.
1924 5, 1967 3.
Game 7: Willie Mays homered into the upper deck in left field to start the scoring in the top of the first. In the top of the second Dick Dietz singled and eventually scored on a Travis Jackson error. Tito Fuentes singled to score Hal Lanier (who reached on the Jackson error) to make the score 3-0. The 1924 team tied the score when George Kelly, Jackson, and Heinie Groh hit back to back to back homers in the bottom of the fifth. In the bottom of the 7th Ollie Brown and Dick Dietz hit singles then Fuentes tripled to knock in two runs. The 1924 team didn't go down without a fight as they loaded the bases with two out in the bottom of the ninth. Frank Linzy struck out pinch hitter Hank Gowdy to end the game.
